Hi! My name is Yuna van der Aar and I am currrently a student at University College Utrecht studying pre-med. I am half Japanese, half Dutch but lived in New York for 6 years, where I graduated from a public American high school. I speak three languages fluently: English, Dutch and Japanese. I teach beginner Japanese, English, biology, and math. I have experience in tutoring, especially in teaching English and mathematics to children. On this platform, I would love to teach mostly young kids, as I have experience working with them, but I am open to anybody. I am also willing to help kids with their homework. For teaching Japanese to beginners, I will start by teaching the basics: the characters, numbers, colors etc. We can spend time on fully memorizing the 2 main alphabets, both writing and reading them. We can then move on to forming sentences and some basic phrases. Additionally, we can explore the Japanese culture and learn about the beautiful country! Read less
